He began to follow his passion for the outdoors during his time at Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. While working on a wide variety of ecological research projects, ranging from government projects to endangered bat research, he found his true passion - environmental consulting.
Throughout his career, Chance has managed a multitude of different project types in both the public and private sectors. From day one, Chance has known that environmental consulting was what he was born to do. He believes that environmental consulting provides a unique opportunity to become an ambassador for our species of concern and natural resources, all while assisting a variety of different industries in the tremendous growth of our economy. Chance believes that successfully blending these two components, paired with long standing healthy relationships with state and federal regulatory agencies, is what defines an exemplary consultant. He strives to reach this goal with every project and calls this the Encarna Difference.
